Measure under your arms, high on your back, across the top of your chest. If this measurement is an even number, this is your band size. If an odd number, add 1" to determine your band size.
Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Next, subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement; each inch represents a cup size. For example: if your band measurement is 34" and your bust measurement is 36", the difference between these measurements is two inches, and you'd wear a B-cup.
Watch a bra fitting video below.
Band Issue One
Your bra band is riding up the back:
This means your bra band size is too large When a band is too large it rides up, allowing your breasts to sag, Go down a band size (or two) and up a cup size.
Band Issue Two
Your breasts are falling out from under the front of the bra – or the bra is standing away from your body and not laying flat and snug, Again, this means your bra band size is too large. Try going down a band size or two, while increasing the cup size, When increasing the band size, you increase the cup size by approximately a ½ inch.
Cup Issue
The band is snug but you are still popping out the top. If your band size is snug and parallel to the front of your bra – but your breasts are still not contained within the cup keep the band size and keep going up cup sizes until it fits.
Strap Issue
The straps keep falling off your shoulders. Your band size is too large. If your cup fits then remain in that cup size but go down in your band size.
