TRANSITION TO SOLIDS

TESTIMONIALS

As a lactation consultant, Gail goes above and beyond to ensure that every new mother she encounters feels empowered and supported in their breastfeeding journey. She patiently listens to concerns, provides practical guidance, and offers encouragement every step of the way. She understands that breastfeeding is not just about nourishment— it's a deeply emotional experience that can be fraught with challenges. Yet, with her guidance, I felt equipped to overcome any obstacle that came my way. Beyond her role as a lactation consultant, Gail also leads our new moms group with grace and expertise. She creates a welcoming and inclusive environment where mothers can come together to share their triumphs and challenges, knowing they will be met with understanding and support. She fosters a sense of community among us, reminding us that we are never alone in our journey through motherhood."

I am a first time mom, struggled to breastfeed my son and didn’t know where to go for help. My friend recommended me to New Mother New Baby, which was the best thing for us, and I was welcomed with love, respect as well as understanding my situation. I began working with Nurse Laura who is incredibly excellent and knowledgeable; Nurse Laura helped me from positioning my baby on the breast to holding him perfectly while feeding him. My experience working with Nurse Laura was very meaningful as she understood how important it was for me to breastfeed my baby, so she went above and beyond to help me get the tools I needed to be successful at this. Today, I am able to breastfeed my son and I'm very happy I was able to be helped by Nurse Laura."

I called New Mother New Baby very last minute as a first time mom having some trouble and not feeling super confident in breastfeeding. Not only did they get me in that day (just a few hours after my phone call) but we had the pleasure of working with Emily who was phenomenal. She made my husband and I feel like we were her only clients, she was so thorough and put in so much time, energy and effort to help us. We walked out feeling so much more confident with a solid plan going forward. Emily also followed up with us a few days after. I will always appreciate and I am happy to say we have had a very successful breastfeeding journey ever since and I firmly believe we owe it to New Mother New baby!"

I started seeing Ally when my baby was two weeks old, because she had tongue tie. Ally immediately put me at ease as I juggled all of the different doctors’ instructions and the triple feeding schedule. Ally helped me come up with a plan that prioritized my own goals without trying to steer me in any direction, and my mental health improved immensely as a result. As the weeks went by, the weighted feeds and Ally’s expertise helped me build confidence in breastfeeding, and now we exclusively breastfeed with no issues at all. I’m so grateful for Ally’s support and now I tell every pregnant person I know to get a lactation consultant ASAP, even if feeding is going well! They are such great resources!"

I highly recommend New Mother New Baby for new mothers looking for excellent lactation consultant services. Abby was so attentive and understanding of my concerns and needs which changed over the first few months of breastfeeding. Scheduling was also flexible and always prompt which was really appreciated."

- Rachel

My pediatrician’s lactation specialist recommended New Mother New Baby to help me as a first time mom and I’m so glad they did. I had a small baby and I was having trouble with latching, positioning and feeling comfortable that the baby was getting enough milk during nursing. Ally came to the house which was such a relief for me not to have to travel but also then she was able to look at my nursing setup and provide recommendations. The weighted feeds were incredibly helpful to understand how much baby was taking and the difference between her feeding vs pacifying. I really enjoyed working with Ally and fully believe my now 4 month exclusive nursing success is all because of her help. I would 100% recommend using New Mother New Baby lactation specialist services and would definitely use them again."

We saw Gail at New Mother New Baby a few days after our son, Lucca, was born. He was struggling to latch and appropriately gain weight. However, Gail gave us wonderful tools, ideas, insight, explanations, and most importantly, reassurance for a couple of first time parents. We trusted her that Lucca would learn to nurse and grow into the beautiful healthy boy he is. She also encouraged me to join the new mom’s group and I LOVED it! I’ve become dear friends with a couple of the other moms who attended; I’m so grateful for this resource. I recommend absolutely everyone to New Mother New Baby because of the care and attention Gail and her team give to new parents!"

What an amazing experience for my wife, baby and even myself as the Dad!! Gail did an amazing job educating our family on feeding our new baby girl. She is kind, brilliant, and patient. She takes time with you, one on one, and ensures you leave her office with a way better understanding than when you came in! Never pushes anything on you at all. This is a must for new or soon to be moms!"
