Laura is a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She earned her BSN at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2002. She has over 20 years of experience working in maternal-child health at Northwestern Medicine-Prentice, including labor and delivery and the Neonatal Intensive Care unit. Laura earned her IBCLC certification in July 2021. 
She is passionate about helping parents learn how to feed their baby so they can feel more confident and enjoy all of the milestones of the first few months and first year.
Laura enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married for 16 years and has two wonderful girls. Laura and her husband love traveling as a family of 4 and watching the girls play their sports. A highlight of the year is the extended family vacation to a Wisconsin or Michigan lake house.
